Returns Policy for Online Shop
Luís Abreu Pestana, Cosmética, Ld.ª, henceforth "LP Cosmética", is committed to maintaining and improving the close relationship - and the agility of the processes - with our clients, in order to make it easier for them to return products to us.
The customer is entitled to a return if the items supplied are found to have defects or other non-conformities. Regarding the items ordered, after receiving the complete order from LP Cosmetica, the client has 48 hours to inform us that he or she wishes to return the product. After these 48 hours, the client still has 14 days to return or request a credit or refund. In the event of a refund, this will always be made using the same method of payment that was made when the order was paid for.
Obligations of partial returns, total returns and exchanges:
- The customer must prepare a transport document, which must be communicated to the Tax Authority, as well as the return document, which must be issued by the customer.
- The returned equipment must be accompanied by the respective instruction manuals, as well as all accessories, without signs of use and properly sealed.
- It will not be accepted the return or replacement of items that have been used, damaged by misuse, carelessness, negligence or disrespect for the supplier's indications.
- The packaging for returns shall be the original packaging, i.e. that of LP Cosmetica, in which the items were sent. This packaging must be in perfect condition, without any sign of damage and properly packed with the air pockets inside.
Returns in case of damage
Any damage to the goods must be noted on the carrier's delivery note.
This check must be made within 48 hours of receipt of the goods. Unsolicited items must be identified and notified whenever possible, by email, or alternatively, by registered letter, in case there is no access to digital means.
Notifications via SMS, Whatsapp or other applications will not be accepted.
The notification email to request the recall and reshipping of the item for replacement is email@example.com
Upon receipt of the email, LP Cosmetica's Transport & Logistics Department will ascertain the source of the fault.
LP Cosmetica is not responsible for the cost of transporting and insuring the goods to its premises.
Returns in case of error
For incorrect delivery
Unsolicited items should be identified and notified by email firstname.lastname@example.org to request collection. The procedure is as follows:
a) If it is found that there has been an incorrect delivery of products, LP Cosmetica shall organise the necessary internal documents to proceed with the collection of the order;
b) If the client receives too many products, in addition to the order he/she actually placed, the client shall notify LP Cosmetica so that the order can be collected.
Returns in case of cancellation
Of the entire invoice
At the moment you place an order online, you are signing a contract governed by the legislation in force, relating to electronic commerce. The cancellation of the entire order placed, after confirmation and shipment, will still imply the commitment to purchase.
The issuing of an invoice/receipt and consequent refusal to receive the order at this stage implies that the expense applies to the client, whether or not he has received the order, provided that the company LP Cosmetica has fulfilled its obligations.
If the order has been confirmed but the customer chooses not to use the item he/she purchased, he/she may always return the item within 14 days of receiving his/her order. However, the customer will have to pay for the shipping costs and insurance of the returned items. The order return should be identified through the email email@example.com, before shipment.
A credit note will be processed upon receipt of the items in our logistics area or a refund will be issued. If the option is the refund, the payment of the amount of the returns will be made by the same method of payment with which the customer paid the order.
The client is responsible for all transport and insurance costs to Luís Abreu Pestana, Cosmética, Lda.
Returns in the event of a manufacturing defect
In the event of a "manufacturing defect", i.e. when equipment faults are detected that, in principle, do not fall within the scope of the respective warranty, the client must return the equipment, together with a copy of the invoice and the duly completed "Equipment Exchange/Return Request" form, within a maximum of 30 consecutive days to the premises of LP Cosmetica.
If the client chooses other forms of return, the respective costs and shipping will be the responsibility of the client.
In order to exchange the product, you must ensure that the packaging is complete (box, instruction manual, warranty certificate, terminal and accessories), with all its components in excellent condition.
If any of the aforementioned elements are missing, or if any of the components are not in excellent condition, there will be no exchange, and the product will be sent back to the customer.
Other situations that justify the return:
If the order has been confirmed but you choose not to use the item you have purchased, you can always return it within 14 days of receiving your order. However, the customer must bear the shipping costs and insurance of the returned items. The order return should be identified through the email firstname.lastname@example.org before shipment.
Return (Right of Withdrawal)
The User, in the case of being a consumer/customer, may exercise the right of resolution without being required to pay any compensation, within 14 (fourteen) days from the day on which the consumer acquires physical possession of the good.
To exercise this right, the User may use the minute indicated below, indicating all their identification data, the subscribed service they wish to resolve and the subscription date. The communication must be made, by letter, through the return of the purchased good, or by other suitable means and susceptible of proof within the period defined above.
The consumer shall, within 14 (fourteen) days from the date of communication of withdrawal, return the goods to LP Cosmetica in a usable condition.

If the customer opts for other forms of return, the respective shipping costs shall be the responsibility of the customer.
Upon receipt of the return at LP Cosmetica, a credit note will be issued or the full amount returned to the customer, corresponding to the amount paid for the order (sales invoice value).
If any of the components of the item sold are missing, or if any of them are not in excellent condition, there will be no refund of the price or shipping costs, and the product will be sent back to the original shipping address.

In order to return the items, you must use the original packaging of the order, if it is not damaged. If you have used a promotional discount code, this amount will not be refunded, i.e. the refund will only be for the amount actually paid.
If any of the components of the item sold are missing or if any of them is not in excellent condition, there will be no refund of shipping costs, and the product will be sent back to the original shipping address.
